tonight's question — whose hard day did you see

Some weeks ago this table asked whose good day you saw. Tonight, the other half — whose hard day did you see today?

The auto driver arguing with the rain. The classmate scolded in front of everyone. The teacher whose voice was tired by the fourth period.

Two rules, both gentle. Nobody has to have done anything about it — seeing is tonight's whole syllabus. And nobody at the table gets assigned a rescue; this is not a planning meeting.

Answer too, and keep yours small. A child who hears a parent say "the watchman looked lonely today" learns that noticing is a family activity, not a school subject.

Then pass the sabzi, and let the table be light again. Noticing and heaviness are not the same thing.
